So, how’s it going with you today? Every day, life continues to be full of twists and turns. And, well – I just want you to know that you’re on my mind and in my heart. We’re soooo lucky to have our needlepoint hobby as a respite from the crazy! Last week, I shared a list of needlepoint shops (on the Serendipity Needleworks Facebook page) that are still operating, albeit in a different kind of way. And earlier this week, I had a new idea. I think you’re gonna L-O-V-E it! Wanna hear what it is?

Independent retailers – including our beloved needlepoint shops…

are being hit hard with this COVID-19 pandemic.

Heck – I know how challenging it is to operate a retail business during even the best of times, first-hand. (Remember, I had a brick and mortar needlepoint and yarn shop for 15 years.) And I can only imagine what our local needlepoint store owners are going through right now. Yikes!

So, starting tomorrow (April 3), I’m adding Needlepoint S.O.S. to our weekly Stitching with Ellen sessions.

That means you’ll get to meet a shop owner and take a first-hand tour around inside her/his needlepoint store. Pretty cool, huh?!
